These include \u201cJesus expressed real feelings,\u201d \u201cJesus possessed common sense\u201d and \u201cJesus revealed the nature of God.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Wesners report that the book has been used for youth or other group studies on knowing Jesus better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cJesus said he came to bear witness to the truth, one of which included the possibility of redemption,\u201d they write. \u201cSins can be forgiven; lives can be changed; people can start over with a clean slate.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The book expresses clearly, however, that knowledge of Jesus is not enough for fully transformational living. Jesus\u2019 call is to follow him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cJesus was a living, breathing representative of God,\u201d they write. \u201cHe came to us a true picture of our Creator. He made us responsible for bringing in the kingdom.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cKnowing Jesus\u2019 life purposes will enable us to find and fill our own role in God\u2019s kingdom,\u201d they continue. \u201cIt will also help us to know Jesus better and to become more like him.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Review by John D.
